The Enchanter Heir
by Cinda Williams Chima

They called it the Thorn Hill Massacre—the brutal attack on a once-thriving Weir community. Though Jonah Kinlock lived through it, he did not emerge unscathed: like the other survivors, Jonah possesses unique magical gifts that set him apart from members of the mainline guilds. At seventeen, Jonah has become the deadliest assassin in Nightshade, a global network that hunts the undead. He is being groomed to succeed Gabriel Mandrake, the sorcerer, philanthropist, and ruthless music promoter who established the Thorn Hill Foundation, the public face of Nightshade. More and more, Jonah’s at odds with Gabriel’s tactics and choice of targets. Desperate to help his dying brother Kenzie, Jonah opens doors that Gabriel prefers to keep closed.
Emma Claire Greenwood grew up worlds away, raised by a grandfather who taught her music rather than magic. An unschooled wild child, she runs the streets until the night she finds her grandfather dying, gripping a note warning Emma that she might be in danger. The clue he leaves behind leads Emma into Jonah’s life—and a shared legacy of secrets and lingering questions.
Was Thorn Hill really a peaceful commune? Or was it, as the Wizard Guild claims, a hotbed of underguild terrorists? The Wizards’ suspicions grow when members of the mainline guilds start turning up dead. They blame Madison Moss and the Interguild Council, threatening the fragile peace brokered at Trinity.
Racing against time, Jonah and Emma work to uncover the truth about Thorn Hill, amid growing suspicion that whoever planned the Thorn Hill Massacre might strike again.

BLOG TOUR: The Mephisto Mark by Trinity Faegan

Welcome everyone!! Thank you for stopping by and checking out our post for THE MEPHISTO MARK blog tour.
I absolutely LOVE this series and sooooo happy to be a part of this tour.
Many thanks to Inkslinger PR and of course Trinity Faegan for everything!!
 All You Need Is Hope

A friend of mine who doesn’t read romance or young adult asked me what my Mephisto books are about. I told her, and she said, “I’m surprised you write such grim, depressing stuff, especially considering how much you love romance novels.” I decided I suck at telling people about the Mephisto. She didn’t get it at all, even remotely.

Okay, sure, the stories are about guys whose father is the dark angel of death, the one who ferries souls to Hell. And the brothers are all doomed to Hell unless they can find and feel real love. But ultimately, the stories are about hope. The overarching storyline is one of hope – for the brothers, for the women they find and want to love, for Lucifer and Mephistopheles, for humanity, and ultimately, for the oldest brother, Eryx, the only soul in existence who nobody wants – neither God, nor Lucifer. Reviled and hated, Eryx’s defeat is the reason for the existence of the Mephisto. He’s evil down to his fingernails, without a shred of compassion or honor or even dignity. He doesn’t yearn for love and acceptance. He believes power will deliver what he needs, but he doesn’t realize that what’s missing in his soul is hope.

Hope is something we all need to survive. Those who’ve attempted suicide and survived frequently say they felt as though all hope was gone when they decided to end their lives. Hope is why we get up every day. It’s why we fall in love, why we go to school and have children and vote and try the new Italian place in town. Hope makes the world keep turning, and without it, humanity is lost.

When people pledge their souls to Eryx in the Mephisto stories, they lose hope of happiness, of fulfillment, of peace of mind. Ironically, in hoping to gain what they think they need to be happy, to feel worthy, they lose their free will and any hope of contentment. I think of these stories as a study in humanity and what makes us all more alike than different. The world over, everyone wants pretty much the same things – respect, dignity, admiration from our friends and colleagues, love, sustenance, and the ability to live our lives according to our own internal moral compass. We all hope for happiness and everything we do is because we hope we’ll find it. Hope really is what keeps us going. As for Eryx, who has no hope, what keeps him going is a mystery we’ll uncover in the final book of the Mephisto series.

Orphaned at six and sent to live with abusive relatives in Bucharest, Mariah learned early in life to box up violent, agonizing memories and put them in permanent mental storage. Now almost nineteen, she has a paying job, a tiny apartment, and a plan to attend university. She loves her independence and is steadily overcoming her past, but when an enigmatic stranger walks into the pub where she works and the trajectory of her life changes yet again, she begins to wonder if she’ll run out of mental shelf space.
The only females unafraid of the Mephisto brothers are the extremely rare Anabo, born without Original Sin. Over one hundred years ago, Phoenix was first to find one, but he made a fatal mistake and she was murdered by his oldest brother and enemy, Eryx. Phoenix soldiered through the next century wrapped up in grief and guilt, his only outlet planning takedowns of those who pledged their souls to Eryx. When one of his brothers brings Mariah to Mephisto Mountain, he’s torn between his instinctive, powerful need to pursue her, and his certainty that he can never have her.
Drawn into the world of the Mephisto, Mariah sees the pain and misery Eryx unleashes on humanity, and the boxes in her mind begin to fly open, one by one. All that keeps her from slipping off the edge is her unlikely, sexually charged friendship with Phoenix. He’s incredibly screwed up; she’s completely broken. It would take a miracle for them to find happiness. Then Eryx brings the war for Hell to a whole new level, forcing Mariah and Phoenix to make a choice that will bind them together for all eternity, or rip them apart forever.

Author of the RITA winning Pink Files series, Stephanie Feagan has had a love affair with romance novels since she was eleven and discovered there are kissing scenes in Victoria Holt books. She spent a lot of time in her closet with a flashlight, reading as fast as possible to get to the end, only to start a new book and begin the whole Leave-Me-Alone-I’m-Reading cycle all over again. She still stays up until the wee hours to finish books, now courtesy of a lighted e-reader which she believes is mankind’s greatest invention ever.
Stephanie also writes Young Adult and New Adult paranormal romance as Trinity Faegen. A practicing CPA who loves travel, books, new pencils, old keys, and smart guys, she lives in the oilfields of west Texas with her engineer husband and a mean cat. She’d love to hear from you. She answers to Stephanie, Trinity, Hey Lady, and Mom, and can be reached at or
She’s aware the similarity between her pseudonym, Faegen, and her real name, Feagan, confuses pretty much everyone, herself included. Since so many mispronounce Feagan as FEEgan instead of FAYgan, she thought she’d mix it up when she took a pseudonym and make it easier on people. Now people say FayEEgen, and spell it wrong. Next time she takes a pen name, she’s totally going with Smith or Jones.

He slows down for nothing, keeping a schedule that no sane person would want. But Riviera interrupts everything, twisting his guts inside out, and wedging her way into his heart, destroying a promise he made to himself.
Will they let their pasts control their future, or will they decide to let go and allow their hearts to discover each other’s?

This book contains mature content and is not intended for younger readers.

One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life.  So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase.  Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head.  Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what laptop out the window.  She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss and quit her job.  Grinning, she made another call to her hubs and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was beating properly again).
So began A. M. Hargrove's career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer. Her books include the following: Edge of Disaster, Shattered Edge and Kissing Fire (The Edge Series); The Guardians of Vesturon series (Survival, Resurrection, Determinant, reEmergent and Beginnings); Dark Waltz and Tragically Flawed.
Other than being in love with writing about being in love, she loves chocolate, ice cream and coffee and is positive they should be added as part of the USDA food groups.

Freakin loved every moment in it...
SQUEEEEE!!!! OMG this book was so fabulous. Am I surprised? NOPE, not one bit. A.M. Hargrove is one of those authors that I know I am going to love whatever she puts out there. Tragically Flawed is no exception and completely blew me away!!
First, let me say that A.M. Hargrove can write a beautifully epic love story. They are filled with so much passion you are instantly transformed. With amazing, well-developed, strong characters, you find yourself completely immersed in the journey that they are on. Emotionally tied and altogether invested in their lives, you know you are in for a phenomenal experience when all of the sudden a pivotal moment happens and then OMG...its like BAM...your world is turned upside down. A.M. Hargrove just came on the loud speaker and said "Ladies and Gentlemen, hold on to your hats because its about to get bumpy"...I mean, EXPLOSIVE twists and turns that leave you reeling..
Tragically Flawed is just that awesome. It is brilliantly written. From that enthralling first chapter (AND let me say that it seduces you with a stunning scene)to the very end where you are breathing heavily, shaking your head, thinkiong HOLY CRAP did all that just happen?? Physically quivering from the overload of emotions that you just experienced.
You fall in love with Riviera and Shan, from their sorted past to the hopeful future they may have. From the artistically talented Riv to the stubborn, hard-working, yet compassionate gentle Shan; you wrap yourself up in the magical words on the pages of Tragically Flawed.
Be ready to throw everything else out the window, cause when you pick this book up, you will not put it down until you finish.
Riveting, compelling, steamy, and absolutely romantic, Tragically Flawed is a MUST READ for 2013...

RELEASE DAY BLAST: Then, Now, Forever by Teodora Kostova

"Gia had let Beppe into her life so easily, as if it was the most natural thing in the world. She’d held him when he’d hurt so badly he’d thought he might die; she’d talked him down when he’d been so angry he’d considered doing something he’d regret for the rest of his life.
Gia had saved his life.
At least once he needed to be strong for her.
This right now, this moment, was theirs. It belonged to them, not to abusive or dead fathers, not to guilt, regret or sorrow, not to the past or the future."
But will their love survive when tragedy separates them?
“I have to go, Gia. I’m tired and I feel empty. I know you need me, but I have nothing left to give you. I need to heal.”
“I miss you so much it’s hard to breathe.”

"Beppe was still Gia’s closest friend. But they’d never be anything more than that again. Remembering what it felt like to have the person you love most in the world be torn away from you still hurt. Gia was determined never to be put into that position again."

There was never lack of love, but can Beppe win Gia’s trust again?

“When I was broken you gave me pieces of yourself and made me whole again.”

Hi, my name is Teodora and I live in London with my husband Ted and my son Jason. I've been writing ever since I can remember, but it became my full time job in 2010 when I decided that everything else I've tried bores me to death and I have to do what I've always wanted to do, but never had to guts to fully embrace. I've been a journalist, an editor, a personal assistant and an interior designer among another things, but as soon as the novelty of the new, exciting job wears off, I always go back to writing. Being twitchy, impatient, loud and hasty are not qualities that help a writer, because I have to sit alone, preferably still, and write for most of the day, but I absolutely love it. It's the only time that I'm truly at peace and the only thing I can do for more than ten minutes at a time - my son has a bigger attention span than me.
When I'm procrastinating, I like to go to the gym, cook Italian meals (and eat them), read, listen to rock music, watch indie movies and True Blood re-runs. Or, in the worst case scenario, get beaten at every Wii game by a six year old.
