RELEASE DAY BLAST: Nuts by Alice Clayton

The New York Times bestselling author of Wallbanger and Rusty Nailed is back with Nuts, the first in a brand new series set in New York’s beautiful Hudson Valley.

Roxie Callahan is a private chef to some of Hollywood’s wealthiest, and nastiest, calorie-counting wives. After a dairy disaster implodes her carefully crafted career in one fell ploop, she finds herself back home in upstate New York, bailing out her hippie mother and running the family diner.

When gorgeous local farmer Leo Maxwell delivers her a lovely bunch of organic walnuts, Roxie wonders if a summer back home isn’t such a bad idea after all. Leo is heavily involved in the sustainable slow food movement, and he likes to take his time. In all things. Roxie is determined to head back to the west coast as soon as summer ends, but will the pull of lazy fireflies and her very own Almanzo Wilder be enough to keep her home for good?

Salty. Spicy. Sweet. Nuts. Go on, grab a handful...

Nuts was such a pleasure to read...Light-hearted, funny, and definitely scorching in the romance department, I seriously could not put this book down.
I do need to add that I think I gained 10 pounds just reading all the delicious food that was being cooked up and served..I swear I think my stomach was growling all the way through...LOL!!
But that all took a backseat to the deliciousness that was Leo...You knew everything changed the minute he came on to the scene...
The electrifying chemistry between Leo and Roxie flew off the pages and all I wanted to do was eat it all up... LOL!!
But besides the steaminess...there was a beautiful romance that bloomed between these two.  From friendship to *fan yourslef* gotta have you right now type of relationship..
I also loved watching the change in Roxie...she had such a  passion for cooking and yet had such a narrow view on how she should live her life or where she would get the most out of her being a chef.  I totally enjoyed seeing her do a complete 180 and not only because of a guy but because of her accepting her true self...
Nuts is a fantastic read...Truly one of those that you better block some time for because you will not want to put it down...
Make sure you get your copy today!!
