Exclusive Excerpts:

CAN'T HELP FALLING IN LOVE by Bella Andre

Gabe Sullivan’s captain, Todd, stepped into the room. “How’re you feeling, Gabe?” “Good, Captain.” He moved to sit up straighter on the bed and Todd shook his head. “You’re fine just like that. I know your skull must hurt like hell.” He nodded back to the doorway. “Are you ready to see Ms. Harris and her daughter, Summer?” No, he thought, he’d be better off never seeing those eyes again. He’d thought about Megan and her daughter one too many times for comfort. Not just because he was reviewing the rescue, trying to look for what he could have done differently, to have gotten them out faster and more safely—but because he hadn’t been able to forget her strength, how hard she’d fought to stay conscious, and what a fighter she’d been every single second of the harrowing journey from her burning apartment. Still, he understood that fire victims often felt compelled to say thank you to the men who had saved them. Especially in a case like this, where they’d just barely held death at bay. “Sure.” He began to nod, but a sharp shooting pain stopped him halfway into the movement. Catching his grimace, Todd said, “I’ll ask Megan and her daughter to come back later.” Her name fit her, Gabe had found himself thinking one too many times. Megan was pretty and strong all at the same time. It would be better to think of her as Ms. Harris. Although, he had to wonder, was there a husband? And if so, where had he been during the fire and why wasn’t he here with them now? “No,” he said, “it’ll be better if I see them now.” She’d say thank you, he’d tell her he was happy to see her and her daughter doing so well, and that would be that. No more being haunted by her eyes, by the surprising strength she’d shown him as she’d crawled on the floor of her apartment and down the stairs. A couple of minutes later, Todd walked back in with the mother and daughter. Ignoring the pain in his head, Gabe sat up higher and forced a smile on his face. And then, his eyes locked with Megan’s and his smile froze in place. My God, he found himself thinking before he could shove the thought away, she’s beautiful. The last time he’d seen her face it had been through a thick haze of dark smoke and the knowledge that one wrong move meant their lives were over. Her eyes were just as big and pretty, her limbs looked as lean and strong as they had when he’d been helping to move her along the floor, but now he could see the softness in her, the sweet curves of her breasts and hips in her T-shirt and jeans. He couldn’t stop staring at the startling green of her eyes, the silky dark hair falling across her shoulders, and the way her pretty young daughter was a carbon copy of her, the only difference their hair color, one dark, one light. She seemed just as stunned as he and for a long moment, the two of them just stared at each other in silence until her daughter ran over to him and threw her arms around him.

LOVE, TUSSLES, AND TAKEDOWNS BY VIOLET DUKE

She felt his eyes on her before she saw him. Her body recognized the intensity of that stare as if it were hardwired to her directly. The guys were all but forgotten now. Hell, the whole room faded away like white noise as she watched Hudson climb into the ring. Lia enjoyed watching him move. There was nothing hurried about his motions; he always seemed relaxed and confident, efficient and ready. He wasn’t intimidating in that built-like-a-fridge way her friends who’d played football in college were. Rather, he was leaner. But infinitely harder. More etched out of wood than molded out of clay. As such, running into his chest was literally like running into a wall. A hard, sexy wall lined with bricks. “You’re killing me.” His voice simmered, soft and low, with a lazy smile curving his lips to show his words were more compliment than complaint. It took just one glance at the throbbing pulse in the muscular column of his neck for Lia to know he wasn’t nearly as unaffected as he sounded. Then all analysis of the man scattered when he went and peeled his shirt up over his head, sending those granite-etched muscles of his back rippling and expanding. His eyes tangled with hers as he toed off his shoes and immediately, Lia felt a surge of adrenaline override any female reaction she’d normally have to the sight. Because the man was doing something so much better than flirting. He was inviting her to play. No gloves. No strike pads. With a slow grin, she snagged her teeth around the Velcro bindings on her MMA gloves and started stripping off the boxing tape underneath as well. This was exactly the kind of sparring she’d been craving for weeks now.

It’s good to be the Queen…

Having ascended the throne of Hell, Madison Wescott is finally able to breathe a sigh of relief. Though she has embraced her demonic nature, she has ensured the safety of everyone she loves. With both Micah and Nix at her side, she wields more power than she could have ever imagined.

But not even the throne is safe when you rule in Hell.

In the wake of a failed assassination attempt, Madison learns about a realm of the damned older than Hell itself. A fierce and powerful incubus vows to escape his imprisonment there — and his efforts are weakening the bonds that hold him and countless other monsters at bay. With no plan and nowhere else to turn, Madison contacts an unlikely source for help. But whose side is he really on? Will he help preserve her reign, or bring about Hell’s downfall?

Choose your partnerships carefully…

(Video created by Videos by O)

“Collecting and torturing a soul is dangerous business, my sister,” Zen said.

“So was becoming Queen of Hell. What’s problematic about going with the flow?”

More of the same unblinking stare from him. “If you go rogue, Madison…”

Madison slammed against the window-wall behind her. Despite the pane’s solidness, she felt it shimmy when it received the brunt of her weight. Recognizing Zen’s new demonstration of power, she elevated her eyebrows at him. With a smirk, she rubbed her back against the glass. She palmed her dragon blade as she flung a ninja star. He leaned to the side, dodging the star with ease. Of course she missed.

“You can’t kill me.”

Only his creator could take him down.

Madison palmed her other dagger and eased away from the window. “Is this you coming for me, Zen?”

His one-shoulder shrug sufficed as an answer. The pounding on the door, followed by Nix and Micah’s yelling further answered her question. Zen had magically locked them out. That’d been why she saw his power flare for a brief second during their conversation.

She went for him. He blocked each jab and slash. Every kick and punch. She eyed him as they circled one another.

He toys with us, her demon remarked.

Of course he does, that was Zen’s way when they sparred.

“Have I not taught you anything?” He smacked her across the cheek in a whip-like move she hadn’t seen coming. It wasn’t hard enough to hurt, but the blow stung all the same. “You tire yourself knowing I’m the superior fighter. It’s like you sacrifice yourself to me. Too easy.”

They went at it again. She tripped over a rug, stumbled backward, and came up dead-footed with her spine against the windowpanes. He moved into her space. Eye-to-eye they stared at one another, her panting the only racket in the room.

“So this is how it all ends?” she asked as he elevated a hand and braced it against the glass next to her head.

“Maybe...”

The door practically throbbed from all the kicking, pounding, and magic thrown at it.

“You’re scaring my men.”

“They should be terrified.”

Madison settled her hand on his arm. “I trust you.”

She chugged his magic harder than she ever had anyone’s, and screamed as pain slashed through her head. Zen’s eyes widened, silver bright, and he jerked away as his magic held strong, barring her husbands from the room.

Zen stumbled, his footing off, and he swayed a moment before going to a knee. Wincing as the pain receded, Madison circled him and secured her blade in its leather holster.

She threaded her fingers in his hair and pulled his head back. His shallow breathing surprised her, “Concede defeat?”

I am a stay at home mom from the South and wife to the most giving and hard working husband ever.  I love to cook and try out new recipes even if they don't always turn out like I want them to.  I refer to my kids lovingly as the Three Stooges as they are constantly coming up with new ways to reek havoc in the house.  Most recently that included putting a rubberband on the kitchen sink sprayer so it would douse me when I did the dishes.  I love to go to roller derby bouts and read in my spare time.  I write mostly at night when the house is silent and I can sneak cookies without having to share!  If you're into stalking, try under the Cypress trees in the swamps of Louisiana, but watch out for gators!!

Fury

Revenge is an euphoric thing. Trust me on this. Nothing compares to the release you get when you ruin someone’s life. When they’ve stolen important things. Things that didn’t belong to them. Things I revel in making them pay for.

What? Have I offended you? I’m not here to appeal to your delicate senses. I have no intention of placating your wishes or living within your personal belief system nor do I care if you hate me. And you will hate me. Because I’m a brutal, savage, cold-blooded murderer and I’m here for my revenge.

I’m Ethan Moonsong...And this is the story about how I went from the world’s most sacrificing man to the most feared and why I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world.

TSK TSK: Hi Fisher!! Thanks for answering our questions... So, first, tell us.. What is a typical day like for you??
Fisher: It's going to be a bit robotic here but if I embellished too much, it'd read like a novel. LOL!  I wake at six a.m. and write or edit for one hour. At seven, I bathe all three of my kids, dress them, and feed them. I make my son's school lunch, start a load of laundry, and at eight, I  drive him to school. I usually get home around half past. I let my two littlest ones play while I do an hours worth of copywriting work, which is my main source of income. At ten, I lay the babies down for a nap, and fold laundry, usually stuffing in another load to wash as well. I clean up the kitchen and living area because it's usually a blooming mess by then before sitting down and finishing up my copywriting work by noon, which is just about the time that they wake. I feed them lunch, try to stuff something down myself, lol, then clean up. I play with them both for about an hour, while answering dings from FB, Twitter, and Instagram, until I have to leave to pick up my eldest from school at two. While I wait in line for him, I read. Oh Lord do I love to read!!! When we get home, we do homework and I keep the babies busy with super fun stuff like water or sand games. When homework is done, they get baths again because, you know, water and sand games. I fold more laundry, clean up again, play with the babies or watch a film with them, then begin preparations for dinner. When Matt gets home, we sit down to eat, put the kiddos in their p.j.'s, and pack them off to bed. Yaay! I clean up some more while Matt works on The Cover Lure stuff then sit down myself to write my current novel. I do all this while answering emails, putting out fires with my copywriting clients, and trying to "appear" active on social media. LOL! I usually end around eleven or so because I'm exhausted but sometimes I'll go later, especially if it's the weekend! It's the freakin' weekend, baby! Saturdays I do a HUGE breakfast with bacon, french toast, and eggs. It's a thing. A tradition, if you will. I concentrate a lot of time writing for fun on the weekends as well because, if I were honest, writing is my favorite thing to do in this entire world. Well, besides loving my family, but right after loving my family, writing is my favorite.

TSK TSK:  What inspired you to write??
Fisher: You know, I can't really say. I think it's because I've written from a very young age in one capacity or another. I'd always been in love with it. I remember growing up, hearing people say often, "Ask Fisher, she can write pretty well." It never even occurred to me that I could write for a living, though. I'd always wrote because it felt a little like coming up for air after a long period under water. I felt that same gasping, desperate sensation when I could portray my thoughts and dreams on paper. So, to answer your lovely question, I was inspired to write because it felt like the most natural thing in the world to me. Writing is a sort of sixth sense for me. It allows me to convey and interpret feeling in ways I don't think I could ever really accomplish with our very human five. Writing is anything but human for me. It's transcending. It's metaphysical.

TSK TSK:  Who would you say is your favorite authors? Who has influenced your writing?
Fisher:  My favorite author, hands down, is Tolkien. At least right now he is. Honestly, it changes with the wind. Tolkien's world building is incredible and leaves me so envious. Isn't that ironic from The Seven Deadly Sins series' author? As far as influence. I'm not really sure. I'd like to say Lucy Maud Montgomery, George Orwell, and Jane Austen. Isn't that a strange combination? But it is what it is, I suppose. Montgomery's character building is unprecedented. Orwell's story building and ability to touch on politics without overwhelming the reader is phenomenal. Jane Austen's ability to plunge the reader into the world of her characters is, quite frankly, seemingly impossible. She does it with such finesse, it fools the reader into thinking it's easy. Yes, these three influence me the most right now.

TSK TSK:  What do you do in your spare time? What type of hobbies do you have?
Fisher: I read. I write. I read and I write. I cannot get enough of the written word. Heaven is a library full of books. As much as it pains me to say it, I've given up most of my hobbies for reading and writing. I was proficient, keyword proficient LOL, with a violin at one time but that fell by the wayside for a deeper passion for novels. I consume words at an incredible rate. It is food to me.

TSK TSK:  What is your favorite type of music? Favorite band? Favorite song right now??
Fisher: Oh my gosh. Great question! I love, love, love all types of music. My playlists run the spectrum from classical to rap. My favorite band would have to be Silverchair. I have yet to find a bad song from them even with their ever changing style. My favorite song right now, though, is Step by Vampire Weekend. Stop what you are doing right now and listen to Step. No worries, I'll wait. ;)

TSK TSK:  Your books cover some really sensitive subjects, what sparked you to write about them?
Fisher: I know this is strange to say knowing the topics I write about, but I hate anything that takes me from my comfort zone. I have to force myself to do it. It is an utterly human characteristic but there it is. I have come to terms with the fact that though I may not like to hear, read, watch information that I find uncomfortable to hear, read, watch, I almost always never regret them. Ever. I have found that I do not ever choose my topics. My topics  choose me. And the truth is, my stories are mostly about a profound love between two human beings, lovers, fated soul mates, who just happen to be thrust within dark worlds desperate for light. My lovers are always as blinding as the sun itself when my stories are done, though, and the dark worlds that surround them disappear altogether. They are hope personified. There isn't a greater reading high than two individuals who somehow survive trudging impossibilities. It makes their triumph all the more sweet, I think.

TSK TSK:  Who would you say is your favorite character you've written so far??
Fisher:  Ethan is my favorite so far. He suffers so, so much, but he also accepts the good quickly, and without argument. I admire him for that. I struggle with that myself. I'm so afraid that wonderful things will be ripped out from underneath me that I have a hard time enjoying them. It's a weird insecurity built into my DNA, I think. I struggle with it but I'm always victorious. I wouldn't have it any other way. ;)

TSK TSK:  What do you hope your readers capture from Fury?
Fisher:  Please abandon all pre-conceived ideas of what you think will happen. Please keep in mind that Ethan is FURY. He is anger personified. He is wrath. Anger is such an odd sin because we all feel it. If you are human, you have experienced it, but do not assume anything about Ethan's anger. As Ethan says, "We are none of us as we seem." I hope readers take away with them an understanding that love triumphs all. That love will save us all.

TSK TSK: What is the best advice that was given to you and what words of wisdom do you impart to your readers?
Fisher: The best advice I have ever gotten. This is a good question. It's making me think. I'd have to say, Ian Maclaren's "Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle." The advice is simple yet profound. None of us know what anyone else is secretly fighting. My advice to readers, I will steal from Kent Keith: "People are often unreasonable, irrational, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some unfaithful friends and some genuine enemies. Succeed anyway. If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway. What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, some may be jealous. Be happy anyway. The good you do today, will often be forgotten. Do good anyway. Give the best you have, and it will never be enough. Give your best anyway. In the final analysis, it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway."

TSK TSK:  What is your favorite dessert?
Fisher: Now this!! This I like. :D Chocolate Chip Amaretto Italian gelato from Paciugo. It is the nectar of the gods.

TSK TSK:  Are you a early bird or a night owl?
Fisher:  I am a night owl, actually, forced into the early morning by her baby birds.

TSK TSK:  Ok.. Last one..   If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you choose??
Fisher:  I want to visit very specific places, actually. I want to see the Catatumbo lightning in Venezuela. I want to see Finnish lapland. I want to see a columnar basalt, any columnar basalt, the Hessdalen Lights, Hạ Long Bay, Rio, the Great Barrier Reef. If it a natural or even unnatural place on this earth, I want to see it.

Thank you so much for having me, my loves!!!

TSK TSK: We ALWAYS love having you here Fisher!! Ok guys, make sure you continue on and discover all the awesomeness below...

And don’t forget BURYING WATER, BECOMING RAIN and CHASING RIVER, the first three books in this thrilling series…

Burying Water
The top-selling, beloved indie author of Ten Tiny Breaths returns with a new romance about a young woman who loses her memory—and the man who knows that the only way to protect her is to stay away.
Left for dead in the fields of rural Oregon, a young woman defies all odds and survives—but she awakens with no idea who she is, or what happened to her. Refusing to answer to “Jane Doe” for another day, the woman renames herself “Water” for the tiny, hidden marking on her body—the only clue to her past. Taken in by old Ginny Fitzgerald, a crotchety but kind lady living on a nearby horse farm, Water slowly begins building a new life. But as she attempts to piece together the fleeting slivers of her memory, more questions emerge: Who is the next-door neighbor, quietly toiling under the hood of his Barracuda? Why won’t Ginny let him step foot on her property? And why does Water feel she recognizes him?
Twenty-four-year-old Jesse Welles doesn’t know how long it will be before Water gets her memory back. For her sake, Jesse hopes the answer is never. He knows that she’ll stay so much safer—and happier—that way. And that’s why, as hard as it is, he needs to keep his distance. Because getting too close could flood her with realities better left buried.
The trouble is, water always seems to find its way to the surface.

Chasing River

Armed with two years' worth of savings and the need to experience life outside the bubble of her Oregon small town, twenty-five-year old Amber Welles is prepared for anything. Except dying in Dublin. Had it not been for the bravery of a stranger, she might have. But he takes off before she has the chance to offer her gratitude.
Twenty-four-year-old River Delaney is rattled. No one was supposed to get hurt. But then that American tourist showed up. He couldn't let her die, but he also couldn’t risk being identified at the scene—so, he ran. Back to his everyday life of running his family’s pub. Only, everyday life is getting more and more complicated, thanks to his brother, Aengus, and his criminal associations. When the American girl tracks River down, he quickly realizes how much he likes her, how wrong she is for him. And how dangerous it is to have her around. Chasing her off would be the smart move.
Maybe it's because he saved her life, or maybe it's because he's completely different from everything she's left behind, but Amber finds herself chasing after River Delaney. Amber isn’t the kind of girl to chase after anyone.
And River isn't the kind of guy she'd want to catch.
