Twenty-two-year old Charlie Rourke needs a lot of money, really fast, in order to vanish before it’s too late. Taking her clothes off for men makes her stomach curl but Charlie tells herself that at least she’s putting her acting and dancing skills to good use. And though her fellow dancers seem eager to nab their sexy, sophisticated, and genuinely caring boss, she’s not interested. After all, Charlie Rourke doesn’t really exist—and the girl pretending to be her doesn’t need to complicate her life with romance.
Unfortunately, Charlie soon discovers that developing feelings for Cain is inevitable, that those feelings may not be unrequited—but losing him when he finds out what she’s involved with will be more painful than any other sentence awaiting her.

EXCITED??? OH YES!!! Once Four Seconds to Lose hit my inbox I couldn't control myself and was sooooo ready to read about Cain.
We only get to see him briefly in the first two books, so I was highly intrigued to get to know this mysterious guy.
AND boy does he keep you captivated all the way through this book. *fans self*
From the very beginning you are hooked, dying to know just what happened in Cain's life to lead to him owning a strip club in Miami. I mean, we all know what kind of people we think about when it comes to the owners of these type of establishments. And yes, we hear that he is the "good guy" from Ten Tiny Breaths, but do we really know what that means???
Well, K.A. Tucker takes us deep in to this world and shows us exactly what kind of guy he is. He is a guy that you completely fall for because he is just that wonderful...
I am not the only one that saw this of course...The minute Charlie walked in to his club she knew there was something different about him too and this scared her to death...
There are so many events that happen in this book that just rock you to your core. I was totally enthralled, biting my nails waiting to find out what was going to happen. My chest was literally aching and my stomach was in knots just worrying on how it would all end...
Four Seconds to Lose is a wonderfully written story that wraps you up in two amazing characters. You are instantly drawn to their lives; rooting for them to have their happily ever after. And no matter how much you want to know how the book ends, once you finish that last page you are depressed that it ended....
A fabulously phenomenal read that I highly recommend you read!!!
