About AS DUST DANCES:

Once upon a time Skylar Finch was the lead singer of a hugely successful American pop-rock band. But fame made her miserable. When years of living a lie suddenly ended in tragedy, Skylar fell off the map.

Eighteen months later she’s sleeping in a tent in a cemetery in Glasgow, making just enough money to eat by busking on the streets. She manages to avoid recognition, but not the attention of one of Glasgow’s ambitious A&R executives.

Killian O’Dea works at Skyscraper Records, Scotland’s most successful record label. Raised by his uncle and owner of the label, Killian’s upbringing would have been devoid of affection entirely if it wasn’t for his loving sister. Killian is unflinchingly determined to bring the label more success than ever, and the young homeless woman who busks on Buchanan Street is going to help him do that. Her music speaks to him in a way he refuses to over-analyze. All he knows is that if it can touch his dark soul, it’ll set everyone else’s alight.

Skylar makes it clear that she doesn’t want to sign with him. But when she experiences the dangerous reality of a woman sleeping rough, Skylar has no one else but Killian to turn to. An undeniable connection forms between them. But Skylar doesn’t want the career Killian is trying to forge for her, and when her past comes back to haunt her Killian will be faced with a decision that could ruin him. He must either free Skylar from his selfish machinations and destroy everything he’s ever worked for, or lose a woman who has come to mean more to him than he ever thought possible…

THIS STORY!! It truly makes you think twice about the people you meet in the world. We get so caught up some times, that we may never know just what some simple kindness shown to others may actually do for them on that particular day.
Reading about Skylar touched my heart on so many levels. And as we traverse through her story an understanding forms on why she is where she is...it just makes your heart ache...
Skylar is a beautiful and complex character and she absolutely captured me the moment I met her. You dive in to this world she has accepted as life and silently scream for something good to come her way. For her to LET it happen and ACCEPT it when it does come...
And we meet Killian...Ahhhh...Killian!! There are times he may be hard to read...but when he lets the wall down...*sighs* -- totally captivated me!!
While As Dust Dances is a beautiful blooming romance, it also brings a struggling young woman trying to live with a past of memories and regrets on a journey to self reliance. I loved Skylar and struggled right along with her...I was beyond elated at how she grew and became the outstanding strong woman she is at the end...
I highly recommend this amazing story...
One of my favorites!!

“I’m going to get a drink.” I grabbed my purse and was moving to slide out of the booth when Killian got up first.
“I’ll get it. What would you like?”
“Uh …” I looked past him to the bar, hoping to see a list of beers. “What do they have? What are you drinking?”
“King Tut’s Lager. It’s brewed in Glasgow.”
Ooh. “Well, I have to have that, then. Half a pint though.” I made a gesture with my finger and thumb. “I’m only little.”
Killian’s eyes flickered down what he could see of my body and I thought I saw a flush high on his cheeks. But the lighting was low so I couldn’t be certain. He cleared his throat and turned away with a muttered, “Right.”
My cheeks felt hot and I put a hand to one as I watched him walk over to the bar. The place wasn’t too packed, but it was possible everyone was already in the venue waiting for the band. I could hear the soft thrum of music and guessed it must’ve been the opening act. Although eager to get up there, I really needed a drink before I had to stand next to Killian in a darkened room.
God, he had an ass on him.
He wasn’t wearing his usual uniform of black suit trousers and shirt that fit him like a glove and showcased his lean, strong physique. He was wearing dark jeans that cupped his muscular ass and a red plaid shirt over a Kaleo T-shirt. He looked good in red. He usually wore darker colors but the red made his hair look blacker, his skin more golden. Dressed like that—indie, relaxed—he looked younger.
I felt more than a tingle of heat between my legs as I studied him standing at the bar. His rugged, sharp profile was somehow more familiar to me than any other person’s profile on the planet. I imagined walking up beside him, sliding my hands down his fine ass and reaching up on my tiptoes to press a kiss to his neck. Breathe in the scent of soap, spicy aftershave, and Killian. Run my tongue along the rim of his ear. Feel his heavy, warm heat lean back into me, the rumble of his groan vibrating through me—
Oh, fuck.
I shook off the thought, knowing my cheeks were probably rosy red. My whole body was left needy and wanting. I crossed my legs under the table and looked anywhere but at Killian, hoping my peaked nipples weren’t visible through my bra and way-too clingy dress.
My gaze landed on a booth a few down from ours because there was a group of young women laughing and shooting hungry looks at the bar.
At Killian.
A roar of possessiveness I didn’t know I was capable of shot through me as I watched them. In fact, I think they were eyeing him and the bartender.
To be fair, they were both very juicy eye candy.
But Killian was my eye candy!
Shit.
I slumped back in my seat.
No, he wasn’t.
And I shouldn’t want him to be.

What a clusterfuck.

RELEASE DAY!! The Dandelion by Michelle Leighton

FROM MICHELLE LEIGHTON:

WILL YOU TRUST ME?

I am so, so excited to tell you that THE DANDELION is live!  I loved everything about this story, from the way it began as a dream to the way I cried a few times as I wrote it.  This book has some of the most real and raw and wounded characters I've ever fallen in love with, but I think that's why I love them so much.  And I truly believe you will, too, but I want to implore you to TRUST ME.  Trust me that, although there are obstacles and struggles that cut to the heart of every woman, this book is one of love and hope and friendship and selflessness of epic proportions.  Trust me to bring you closure and happiness, the kind we all have to work for, but the kind that's made all the more special because we have to work for it.

Give this book a try.  Give this love a try.  Give this HOPE a try:)  I sincerely hope you adore the story as much as I do!

WHAT READERS ARE SAYING:
"A true must read"
"A breathtaking story"
"I just could NOT. STOP. READING."
"The Dandelion is simply……..BEAUTIFUL!!!"
"It was worth every single minute."
"Read it. Just...read it."

THE DANDELION
At thirty-five, Abigail Simmons has mastered only one thing—running. When tragedy strikes, she runs. This time her urge to flee brings Abi back to her hometown, where she hopes she can find the peace she’s always searched for. That hope is dashed when Abi’s ex, Sam Forrester, bumps his way back into her life.
Sam has flourished in ways Abi hasn’t. From the outside, he has it all—a successful medical practice, a beautiful daughter, and a charming wife.
Who is dying.
Sara Forrester is dying and her final wish is for Sam to find love again so she can meet the woman who will finish raising her daughter and grow old with her husband. Abi seems like the perfect fit, but what Sara doesn’t know is that Abi has a secret, a secret no one could guess.
And it’s a deal breaker.

BLOG TOUR: Villain by Samantha Young

The sexy and emotional companion novella to the New York Times bestselling romance HERO.

Nadia Ray is not just a broadcast meteorologist. She’s Boston’s morning television It Girl. Successful and independent, she’s put a past she’s ashamed of behind her and is forging a future she can be proud of. However, when her new boss discovers her secret he blackmails her, intent on using Nadia’s popularity to make them the number one morning show in Massachusetts. He wants her to be part of uncovering the city’s biggest scandal - a secret billionaire Caine Carraway is hiding.

Soon Nadia is thrown into the path of Caine’s best friend: sexy, wealthy bachelor Henry Lexington. But she doesn’t encounter the dashing high society gentleman Henry is purported to be. Instead she’s faced with an insulting and defensive villain who misjudges her at every turn.

When Henry finally realizes the truth, and decides to make amends, Nadia wants nothing to do with him. But she underestimates his determination and charm and soon they find themselves embroiled in an intense, passionate affair.
An affair Nadia knows must come to an end before their feelings grow any deeper and he discovers her secrets.
After all, Henry Lexington isn’t the only one who played the part of a villain once…

Lexington’s jaw clenched and he cocked his head to the side. There was something about being the sole focus of this man that made me nervous and insecure. I put it down to the fact that I was alone with him in my apartment and he’d politely threatened me.
“I’ve seen you in the morning doing the weather reports.” He dropped his gaze for the first time, deliberately raking it over my body, before moving back up to my face. “You’re hard to miss.”
I kept my expression carefully blank, not liking his derisive tone. Not at all.
“How then,” he took a step toward me, “does a weather girl end up chasing tabloid gossip?”
But he didn’t give me a chance to explain, or to tell him what I’d already planned to tell Carraway. “Tabloid journalists are bottom feeders. Lowly scum on the evolutionary chain.” His upper lip curled in distaste and I hated that it was directed at me. Defiance shuddered through me but I held it together. Who was he to judge me? He’d had money and power his whole life. He didn’t know what it was like to be made to feel like a victim.
I flinched, goddamn him.
And he saw it. His brows drew together as he studied me and his tone softened ever so slightly. “Caine doesn’t know you’re digging, and he doesn’t need to know. Stop.”
He seemed to take my non-answer as agreement because he walked past me to leave.
What was I doing?
Just because this man was an asshole didn’t mean Carraway wasn’t still the answer to my problem with Dick.
I hurried after Lexington, and as he opened my door, I called out, “The story is about his mother’s death and whether the Hollands are connected to it. Alistair Holland. Was he there when she died and did someone cover it up? Is Carraway’s PA Alexa related to the Hollands? And if so, why is she working for him?”
Henry whipped around and barreled me back into the wall before I could even blink, anger emanating from every part of his body as he trapped me. Infuriating heat and expensive cologne engulfed my senses. “How much do you want?” he seethed.
Shock and fear quickly turned to disgust and disappointment.
How stupid was I to think this guy could help me?
How stupid was I to think any man could help me?
I was right before.
I needed to fix this myself. Like always.
“You people think you can do whatever the hell you like, don’t you,” I said, my voice hollow in my ears, “Throw money at the problem and it’ll go away.”
“Don’t pretend like I’m the bad guy here, Miss Ray. I’m not the cruel woman playing journalist, plucking guesses out of rubble and trying to put them together like a puzzle to wound strangers who don’t deserve the consequences of your poisoned pen.”
I wasn’t trying to do that, you arrogant bastard!
I gave him a hard, mocking smile. “How poetic of you, Mr. Lexington.”
“Don’t think seduction will work here,” he bit out, staring at my mouth, surprising me because seduction was the last thing on my mind. “Contrary to popular belief, I’m not swayed by every pretty face I see.” He pushed off the wall and stepped back. “You will bury this story or I will bury your career.”
Hurt kept me pinned to the wall. “And here I was led to believe you were the most charming man in Boston.”
“Oh, I am. But some people aren’t worth the energy.”
And on that last well-placed parting shot, he marched out of my home, slamming the door behind him.

I absolutely love this book.. No surprise there since Samantha Young wrote it.. LOL!
But Villain brought us Nadia and Henry, which are two fabulous characters, that kept me on the edge of my seat. I loved Nadia and her spunkiness.  I loved how she was a no nonsense kind of girl and stood her ground when she had to.  She fought hard to be where she was and I was inspired by her.  And now Henry...He was definitely a charmer.  You could just feel it oozing off of the pages.  But when he sets his sights on that one woman...Lord have mercy!! A MUST READ!!! Truly...A thrillingly sexy story that melts your heart. A quick read that you won’t put down..
