BLOG TOUR: Dream of Me by Quinn Loftis

Welcome everyone!!! I am so happy to have you here on my stop for the DREAM OF ME blog tour...
Such an amazing book and don't just believe me...Check it all out below...
Make sure you enter the GIVEAWAYs at the end...

Since the dawn of time, Brudair, otherwise known as the Sandman to the world, has faithfully lived out his purpose, faithfully performed his duties. He has never questioned his lot among the immortals, until now, until her. Sarah Serenity Tillman, a consummate beauty both inside and out, is a high school senior five months from her graduation. She has great plans, dreams of leaving the small town of her childhood behind her forever. But destiny has other plans, and it’s the Sandman’s job to make sure those plans are fulfilled.

The tall muscular Sandman, known as Dair to his friends, dressed in black, wrapped in shadows, is more than a myth. And he has a job to do. His very existence makes him a creature of the night, because dreams, (yes the legends got that part right), were indeed his specialty. But his purpose was more than just weaving dreams for sleeping children. No, his dreams were made to influence, made to ensure that certain special individuals, those individuals who would change the course of history, actually accepted their chosen destiny.
Little does Serenity know that she is Dair’s next assignment. And the dream that he weaves for her, if she follows its influence, will change the course of, not only her life, but possibly the whole of history as well. But she isn’t the only one being influenced. The beauty inside of her was weighing on the Sandman, lighting up the darkness that was his constant companion. Her light was warmth, it was life, and he didn’t understand how he had survived the previous millennia without it.
The Sandman was indeed greater than anything humans had ever imagined, and his purpose was vital to the course of history. So what happens when the weaver of dreams gets so distracted by a mere human that he ignores his own duties in the immortal realm? How can an immortal who was never meant to have a mate, join a young woman in her destiny without irrevocably changing the lives of millions and potentially altering history in a way the Creator never intended?

So, I was curious...and I wanted to know what Quinn Loftis chose the Sandman...So I asked...Here is her reply to this intriguing question...

Why the Sandman?

So basically I've been wracking my brain for a storyline that hasn't been beaten to death. I mean I'll never stop loving my werewolves regardless of how overdone they are, but when I decided to do a new series I wanted to do something different. So I started looking at characters in myths and legends that hadn't been really hit on. The Sandman is one that seems to only be done in horror books and movies. I decided that I could somehow make him sexy and significant and maybe bring him out from legend to truth. He just really seemed like an intriguing character and I truly hope I've done him justice.

Totally cool and I think she has done a FABULOUS job...check out my review in a few to see what I thought of her new series...

Quinn lives in beautiful NW Arkansas with her husband, 2 sons, Doberman and cat (who thinks she is a ninja in disguise). She is beyond thankful that she has been blessed to be able to write full time and hopes the readers know how much all of their support means to her. Some of her hobbies include reading, exercising, crochet, and spending time with family and friends. She gives all credit of her success to God because he gave her the creative spirit and vivid imagination it takes to write.

See the trailer

I find it such an honor to be able to read anything by Quinn Loftis...and when I saw she had this new book coming out AND it was about the Sandman, I have to admit...I was very curious as to how she was going to write a story around this mythical being.
Well...never underestimate Quinn Loftis is how I need to start this...
As I had no idea of what to expect when I opened up to the pages ahead of me...She completely drew me in with such an epically beautiful story.
Do YOU believe you could fall in love with the Sandman?? Well..get ready ladies...Dair, aka the Sandman, will totally make you melt...The way he speaks and I don't mean the way Serenity feels when she hears is voice...I mean in the eloquence of his speech.  He speaks in mannerisms that truly capture your heart.  It is mesmerizing and I wish more men spoke like that to this day.
But, that doesn't encompass all of what this story is.
I thought it would solely be about a love story of Serenity and Dair but OH MY WORD...it was so much more than that...
Dream of Me has touched my heart in so many ways...I seriously don't think that I could truly capture the exact feelings that I have walked away with from reading this tale.
I believe I experienced so much...I was filled with laughter, joy, anger, and sadness...I was holding my breath at what I thought would come to pass and as I drew to the end of the book..My fear won.  There are things happening in this world that is magical and spiritual.  The good and bad are fighting an endless battle and Dream of Me taps in to all that so we can sample the power of our Creator and the wonderful beings that are around us everyday...
Thank you Quinn Loftis for such a breath-taking tale.  I am so eager to see what book 2 holds and I can't wait to see how the love of Dair and Serenity grows....
Highly recommend you read this book and it definitely is one of my top reads of the year so far!!

The Return - Cover

The Fates are cackling their bony asses off...
It's been a year since Seth made the deal with the gods that pledged his life to them. And so far, the jobs they've given him have been violent and bloody--which is kind of all right with him. But now Apollo has something else in mind for Seth. He's got to play protector while keeping his hands and fingers off, and for someone who really has a problem with restraint, this new assignment might be the most challenging yet.
Josie has no idea what this crazy hot guy's deal might be, but it's a good bet that his arrival means the new life she started after leaving home is about to be thrown into an Olympian-sized blender turned up to puree. Either Josie is going insane or a nightmare straight out of ancient myth is gunning for her.
But it might be the unlikely attraction simmering between her and the golden-eyed, secret-keeping Seth that may prove to be the most dangerous thing of all.
Because history has once again been flipped to repeat.

I was a half-blood, but I was also the Apollyon, a child of a pure and a half, a union that had been forbidden for thousands of years because an Apollyon was more powerful than any pure or half could ever hope to be.
And I always got to the traitors’ hideouts before they did, so the Sentinels were usually left with the cleanup, which I was sure absolutely thrilled them.
The first to enter was a female half-blood dressed just as I was. Her black hair was pulled back in a neat little knot at the top of her head. She was older, probably in her mid-thirties. It was pretty rare for a Sentinel to live that long. Her dark skin paled as she stopped just inside the entrance. She clenched titanium daggers in her hands like she expected something vicious to pop out from under the bloody mess.
The female Sentinel tipped her chin up, and the overhead light sliced across her broad cheekbones. She bore a jagged scar under her right eye, the skin lighter in tone. She saw me and froze.
My smile widened.
Behind her, another Sentinel rushed in, almost mowing her over. He saw me and whispered, “Seth.”
He’d said my name like I was the monster under his bed, and I sort of liked that. Then another Sentinel and another rolled in. The fifth took one look at my interior design work and keeled over. Slamming his hands on his knees, he hurled up his dinner.
Nice.
Our society existed completely unknown to the average mortal and had operated under what was known as the Breed Order for thousands of years. The Order had been dismantled, which meant halfs were no longer forced to choose between becoming Sentinels—hunting down violent creatures, protecting pures, enforcing laws, and otherwise usually dying pretty damn quickly on the job—or servants, which was a job that really wasn’t a job, but more like slavery. Since then, many pampered pures had signed on to be Sentinels, making up for the loss of the halfs who’d pretty much said “screw this shit, I’m out.”
This wasn’t necessarily a good thing.
For example, the dumbass puking all over my blood-covered floor was a pure. When he straightened, his face a greenish hue, he backed away, shaking his head. “I can’t,” he gasped out. “I can’t do this.”
Then he turned and hauled ass out the doors.
I sighed. This was why we couldn’t have nice things.

I absolutely LOVED the Covenant series and I have to admit, knowing there was a spinoff with Seth, I was leery...He was one of those from the Covenant series that I would have been happy to have seen dead...
Yeah..ouch...sorry...
BUT...never doubt the fabulous Jennifer Armentrout to be able to draw you in and completely change your mind...
I mean...I did not want to see him happy...YET as I began reading The Return, and getting in to the head of Seth, I realized there was so much more to him than what I gave him credit for.
And then...the next thing I knew...I was rooting for him..I wanted him to so bad to have the girl he was falling in love with...
And this girl...Josie...man..she was just the right kind of girl that could make me like Seth...
New to the world of the gods and the Covenant, Josie has to overcome so much.  But as I mentioned already, this is where Seth shines.
These two together remind me so much of Aidan and Alex...*sighs*
Of course, not exactly like them..but their relationship shows them how much they truly care for one another and how far they will go to protect the other.
But, all is not roses and candy...These two have so much thrown at them.  Such battles to overcome, whether it is literally or metaphorically, Seth and Josie struggle to stay true to themselves and the hopes of what may come...
The Return is of course a brilliant fast paced read that I could not put down.  I was hanging on, biting my nails at the non-stop action packed drama and do I need to say the steamy romance that filled the pages of this book??
Yeah...Seriously...you are going to love this book...I know it is out now...All I can add is I am ready for the next installment!!!

Oh..this is just pure FANTABULOUS!!!
Here is your chance to WIN a SIGNED copy of The Return

All you have to do is comment below with telling me who your favorite god or goddess is...and please feel free to tell why...Would love to hear your thoughts...
GOOD LUCK!!!!
