BLOG TOUR: Reluctantly Royal by Nichole Chase Character Hop

Thanks for stopping by today and checking out the Reluctantly Royal Character Hop...
SO...MUCH....FUN....
Scroll below and check out all the goodies and make sure you enter the giveaway!!!

Maxwell Jameson Trevor, prince of Lilaria, hates his royal role. Despising the limelight, he takes solace in his art studio and steers clear of any drama. But when one of the newly discovered royals passes away, Maxwell's brother Alex asks him to break the news to the old man's granddaughter. Though he hates to be the bearer of doom and gloom, he doesn't want the poor girl to find out from the tabloids. For Maxwell knows all too well how devastating that could be.
Coming from a broken home and modest background, newly ordained Lady Meredith Thysmer has seized her chance to make a better life for herself and her son. She's not afraid to use her best assets to get what she wants. But when the unpretentious yet devastatingly handsome Max delivers his news, her plans for the future come crashing to a halt. In the challenging days ahead, Max's compassion, humor, and steadfast loyalty to Meredith and her son win her over. She quickly finds herself doing something she swore would never happen again: falling in love. And yet Maxwell still refuses to completely drop his guard. Somehow Meredith's got to find a way to seduce this reluctant royal.

Check out the interview of Nichole with Bert....
Hope you enjoy!!
 Bert

Nichole: Thanks for joining us Bert.
Bert: Of course.
Nichole: I heard that you received your Master’s degree a couple of months ago. Congratulations.
Bert: Thank you.
Nichole: Now, despite your fantastic degree I hear that you’re quite the chef. Something about a secret chili recipe?
Bert: It’s one of Sam’s favorites. I usually made it for game days. Jess is a big football fanatic and Sam didn’t care as long as she was being fed.
Nichole: Speaking of Sam, do you ever find her new title intimidating?
Bert: I typically fear for my life before her second cup of coffee. And that was before she was a royal.
Nichole: Fair enough. So mornings are out, but when is a good time to spend with the Princess?
Bert: Sam is laidback and loves to be outside. That’s usually where she is happiest.
Nichole: Would you consider Samantha a sister?
Bert: Well, she yells at me, makes jokes at my expense, and would probably drop whatever she was doing if I needed help. So yeah. She’s like my sister.
Nichole: Thank you for coming out to chat with us. It’s been fun!

Sometimes, things that go bump in the night are real.

My name is Whitney Lane.  I’m sixteen years old and at first, I thought I was crazy.
I kept seeing shadows move along walls, and hearing whispers around corners, but whenever I looked, there was never anything there.
Until one day, there was.
Our world isn’t what we think.  There are things around us, good things, bad things, scary things.
Things that we tell ourselves aren’t real, but they are.
They’re very real, and they’re terrifying.
I’ve been swept up now, in a battle of good and evil, confused about love and what is supposed to be love, but isn’t.  I don’t know what to think anymore.  I can’t trust my emotions and I don’t know what is true.
There’s only one thing I know for sure.
Nothing is what it seems.

Guardian Available now

Sometimes the things that go bump in the night are real.

Happy birthday to me.
I close my eyes and burrow into my pillow as I try to sleep, as I try to escape this life.
It’s a life I never thought I’d have, a life I most certainly don’t want.
I’m still feeling sorry for myself as the blackness of sleep finally overtakes me.
I don’t know what time it is when I shoot straight upward like a rocket.  Something had yanked me from the oblivion of sleep, something loud and shrill scraping my window.
My room is completely dark and I glanceat my clock in confusion.
3:00 a.m.
As my heart pounds hard against my ribcage, I quickly scan every corner of the room.
In the last few hours, dark shadows had migrated onto my pink walls, but they’re familiar, nothing out of the ordinary, although in the night, they seem twisted and scary.
I remain motionless as I allow the sleep-induced fog to clear from my brain.
As I sit, I feel common sense and logic slowly returning.
Of course nothing had touched my window because my bedroom is on the second floor. Nothing can reach it.  And there are no trees near enough to brush against it.  It was just a dream.
It was only a dream.
I chant it silently to myself like a mantra as I consciously slow my breathing down, hoping that my racing pulse will soon follow. It was only a dream.
But just as I’m calming down, I hear it again.
A high-pitched shrill shriek, reminiscent of fingernails on a chalkboard, scraping down my window. I gasp and pull my feet up to my chest, which is when I notice the temperature.
I notice because I can see my breath.
Timidly, I blow a puff out again, watching the way my breath turns white in the air.
Holy crap.  Oh my God.
What the hell?
The sound stops and stillness surrounds me once again, the silence so loud that it echoes in my ear.
Nothing moves around me, the shadows are perfectly still as they twist across my wall.  They look like mangled fingers and arms and legs, but they don’t move.
My legs are weak and shaking, but I know I have to move.   I have to move off my bed because it feels like something is under it.  Something terrifying.
With a leap, I bound across the room, my feet hitting the floor several feet away from the edge of my bed.
The floor is ice cold, as though it had been covered in a blanket of snow.
I’m trembling as I race to the far wall and check the thermostat.  Because that’s the only explanation.  I must’ve bumped it earlier, I must’ve turned the AC way down.
But the luminous numbers stare at me in contradiction.
74 degrees.
It must be broken.  It has to be broken.
My breath is coming in pants now, terrified, anxious pants.
My fear isn’t logical.  I know there’s nothing here.  I’m the only one in this room.
Or am I?
The air seems to push at me from all around, something dark, something heavy, something real.  Something unseen.
My fingers shake, my legs tremble, and then all of a sudden, they can no longer support my weight.  I go down like a pile of bricks, collapsing onto the floor.  I lie still because I can’t move, because something seems to sit on my chest, holding me down.
The shadows start to move, to slither across the walls, to reach and pull and dance.
I struggle to focus, to see what it is.
But all I can see are the numbers on the thermostat suddenly moving, rapidly counting down from 74 to 20.
Twenty degrees?
The air is frigid as I suck it in, as I try to pull the ice crystals into my mouth so I can breathe.
All of a sudden, there’s a blackness in front of me.  It hovers over me, a shapeless mass, sucking in the cells of the air, the atoms and the molecules.  It’s darker than the blackness of my room, blacker than the blackest black.
Something is here.
With me.
“Dad?” I whisper in a white puff.  Because what else could it be?
I reach out a finger to touch it, and then I can’t see anything else, because the darkness of it surrounds me, bleeding into everything else, even my vision.   The shriek is back, screaming into my ears, bleeding into my brain.
Then there’s nothing

RELEASE DAY BLAST: The Write Stuff by Tiffany King

Twenty-two-year-old historical romance writer Nicole Blake, or N.S. Blake to her readers, hasn't taken an official poll, mind you, but she is convinced she may be the only romance author on the planet who is still a card-carrying member of the virgin club.
Not that she hasn't tried to end her membership. Life just keeps finding pesky ways to interfere. With no prospects on the horizon, Nicole begins to feel like the closest she will ever get to experiencing a man is within her own stories.
Opportunity presents itself in the form of hot-as-sin-on-a-lollipop-stick bartender/premed student Alec Petropoulos, who agrees to be the cover model for her upcoming book. Sparks fly instantly between them, and Nicole begins to entertain the possibility that she's finally found the right guy to hand over her tattered V-card. Alec has all the makings for a perfect one-night-stand candidate except, much to Nicole's surprise, he seems to be the only man in existence not interested in bagging a virgin.
Stuck between a rock and a stubborn male, what's a virgin to do? Seduce him, of course. How hard could it be? If it works for the characters in her stories, why wouldn't it work for her?

After all, what happens under the cover…stays under the cover.

BLOG TOUR: Freeing Her by A.M. Hargrove

Hello everyone!!!!

Today, we have an interesting guest post from Kolson Hart letting us know all about the worst job he has ever had...So, scroll through and enjoy...
Make sure you enter the GIVEAWAY at the end...
Happy Reading!!
Kat

• This novel contains mature content and it not intended for younger readers.

This is the beginning of a story... the story of two people who were meant to be together. Why? Because unknown to them, they shared terrifying pasts and the cruel circumstances of their births doomed both of them to a life of hell.

Two strangers ... one night ... one accidental meeting that changed their lives forever.

Gabriella Martinelli, Manhattan psychiatrist had only one goal in life—to help abuse victims avoid the horrors she’d experienced herself. She worked late, volunteered, and donated her services to anyone who needed them. Life was good ... until her nightmare resurfaced. He found her, and began stalking her, and she knew he wouldn’t stop until he destroyed every ragged piece of her.

Kolson Hart, Manhattan’s most eligible bachelor, was ruled by his dark past. He liked control, from the boardroom to the bedroom and didn’t care to be involved with someone whose life was just as screwed up as his was. But one look at Gabriella short-circuited everything. Want ... desire ... need ... will sometimes drive a man to do things he swore he never would.

He freed her from a life of fear ... When he couldn’t even save himself.

The Worst Job I Ever Had—by Kolson Hart

Most people think the worst job I ever had was when I started Hart Transportation Services. That’s because I drove a taxi when I launched the company. Granted, it was no picnic. I worked my ass off. Up early to catch the rush hour riders, many of them rude because they were running late, I’d put up with their crap and get them to work on time. Have you ever seen the streets of Manhattan during rush hour? Insanity! And they’d yell at me from the back seat, like I was supposed to be able to magically move hundreds of cars out of the way, so they could get to their destination. Seriously. That would be the start of my day, but then I would stay out late to pick up partygoers. They were damn worth it, too, because they were so liberal with their tips, and I sure needed the cash at the time. I didn’t mind them, because they were all pumped up on happy juice ... well, except if they got sick. Then that would be disgusting. I existed on power naps during the day, grabbing one when I could, so I could work as often as possible. It wasn’t much of a life. And then I had the occasional nasty customer to deal with. I’ve been cursed at, screamed at, and if it hadn’t been for the plastic divider in my car, I would’ve been spit at and God knows what else. And then there was the clean up jobs I would have to deal with. Yeah, it was a shit job for sure, but I would do it all over again, because it gave me freedom and allowed me to build an amazing organization. Besides, it wasn’t the worst ... couldn’t get close to being the worst job I ever had. Nothing could match working for Langston Hart. But then again, working for him, couldn’t begin to touch living with him. But that’s a story for another day.

PastedGraphic-11One day, on her way home from work as a sales manager, A. M. Hargrove, realized her life was on fast forward and if she didn't do something soon, it would quickly be too late to write that work of fiction she had been dreaming of her whole life. So, she rolled down the passenger window of her fabulous (not) company car and tossed out her leather briefcase. Luckily, the pedestrian in the direct line of fire was a dodge ball pro and had über quick reflexes enabling him to avoid getting bashed in the head. Feeling a tad guilty about the near miss, A. M. made a speedy turn down a deserted side street before tossing her crummy, outdated piece-of-you-know-what lap top out the window. She breathed a liberating sigh of relief, picked up her cell phone, called her boss and quit her job. Grinning, she made another call to her hubs and told him of her new adventure (after making sure his heart was beating properly again). So began A. M. Hargrove's career as a YA/NA and Adult Romance writer. Her books include Kissing Fire, Edge of Disaster, Shattered Edge, the series the Guardians of Vesturon (Survival, Resurrection, Determinant, Beginnings and reEmergent), Dark Waltz, Tragically Flawed, Tragic Desires, and Exquisite Betrayal. Other than being in love with being in love, she loves chocolate, ice cream and coffee and is positive they should be added as part of the USDA food groups. (If you're wondering, it didn't happen EXACTLY that way, but….)
You can also find her on Goodreads as Emerson St. Clair. Her novella series, Dirty Nights, is available and those are a little dark, a little erotic and a lot sexy!

Welcome everyone!!!
Glad you stopped by on my tour stop for Mary Smith's ALWAYS FOREVER...

Today I have a little treat for you...
I get the chance to pick the brain of Mary's muse and cover model, Nolan Long...
So, check everything out and see what he has to say to my questions.....

Music has been there for them, Always Forever
Colton Cruise has a determined, focused, hardworking attitude. He’s the manager of one of the most popular bands. However, all of his problems are coming from a smart mouth, petite, guitar player of the opening band.

Ivee Jamison is a blunt, outspoken girl who has been on her own for a while. She does whatever she wants. That is, until her new boss, Colton Cruise, starts barking orders.

The secrets that drive them are the one holding them back. Now will the music be able to save them once again?

Hello everyone!!  So, today, I have with me Nolan Long, cover model for ALWAYS FOREVER...
So, lets get started... Kat:  Welcome Nolan..Can you tell us a little bit about yourself??
Nolan: I am a senior at the University of Mississippi majoring in Exercise Science. I am currently looking for agencies to start what I hope to be a long modeling/acting career.

Kat: That sounds awesome!! How long have you been modeling?

Nolan:  I have been modeling for about a year now

Kat: And, What is it you like about modeling?

Nolan: I guess the childhood dream of being famous never died in me. I want to be the best I can be and I don't shy away from cameras.

Kat: What was it like seeing yourself on the cover of Mary's book?

Nolan: It's very humbling and inspiring at the same time. I am eager to do bigger and better things now.

Kat: Do you have any plans outside of modeling?
Nolan: I plan on applying to different PTA schools this fall.

Kat: Oh that is good....Now, What type of things do you like to do in your spare time?
Nolan: Anything sports related. I love to compete in everything I do and I also love working out. Also, the party scene in a college town isn't to bad either.

Kat: HA!! Yeah, since you mention working out...Do you work out a lot??  Follow a certain eating regime to keep your physique?
Nolan: I just recently started watching my diet a little closer but I've always enjoyed working out.

Kat: Cool!! What is your favorite type of music?? Favorite band?? Favorite
song right now??

Nolan: I am a music lover so it would be hard for me to choose just one of each. Pretty cliche' I know.

Kat: Now, of course all the ladies are dying to know, are you single??
What qualities do you look for in a woman?

Nolan: I do have a girlfriend right now that I have been with for about 5 years. She is loving, compassionate, and outgoing. She's also not to bad on the eyes as the old timers would say.

Kat: I can definitely understand....Are you able to tell us what you are working on right now?
Nolan: I am currently making my modeling portfolio to send in to some of the biggest agencies out there.

Kat: Sweet...I know that is exciting!! So, to wrap this up....tell me...Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

Nolan: In 10 years I see myself in the entertainment industry and still modeling if my looks don't fade haha!

Kat: Hehehe!! Well thank you so much for answering my questions...and definitely GOOD LUCK to all your future endeavors!!!
And TSK TSKers...if you guys want to know more about
