These two are one of my all time favorite couples. Their explosive chemistry creates unbridled passion and some of the most romantic scenes to date. So being able to drown in the pages of their relationship was pure heaven.
Now, it wasn't all roses and caviar for this couple in Castle Hill. There are some amazingly beautiful moments in which you think you couldn't love Braden any more than you already do and then there are the moments in which I could slap him silly for his behavior. AHHHH....the tumultuous tribulations of relationships...These two experience so much...
Still dealing with trust issues and miscommunication, this couple fights through these barriers and brings us to our knees with gut-wrenching heartache that literally causes your whole body to feel their pain.
I mean, haven't they been through enough already??
I was like UGH...I got so angry at Braden and his pig-headedness and if I could have walked in to that apartment and beat some sense in to him I would have done that. Does that mean Joss is all innocent in this?? No, but boy did he show his rear in this book and when Joss and Braden finally have that breaking point, I have to say I needed a break too.
When you are so emotionally connected to these characters, their joys and pains are yours too...and from start to finish I was on their emotional rollercoaster with them.
But, I truly loved this novella. The hot steamy scenes were off the charts and the beautiful heart felt moments took my breath away.
The genius of Samantha Young shines through in Castle Hill and I can't wait to see more of what the future holds for these two awesome characters....
