Just when she thought things were
going up…
Two years after a devastating breakup, Brittni Mitchell has moved on from Justin Avery—or so she tells herself. But when she returns to Seattle for her best friend’s engagement party, Brittni finds herself the victim of a disastrously timed elevator breakdown. She’s trapped with the last person she wants to face, and forced to recount the past she desperately wants to forget.
She’s going to have to look
back…
When Brittni left her podunk hometown for a big city college experience at the University of Washington, hooking up with a guy like Justin Avery was not part of her plan. Between Justin’s attention-grabbing tattoos, cigarette smoking, and bad boy attitude Brittni quickly chalked him up as "Mr. Wrong.” But his charm was unrelenting, and Brittni’s decision to give Justin a chance quickly turned into the worst choice she ever made.
So that she might be able to move
forward.
Now she’s stuck with Justin—literally—and the complicated web of misunderstandings that tied up the truth for two years is about to unravel.

For so much of this book, I was dying to know why Justin and Brittni had so much animosity for each other. We get flashbacks detailing us of how they met, how their relationship progressed and then left with the present knowing these two had a horrible break up...They are two characters that your heart aches for and secretly roots for all at the same time...You can feel their chemistry and all you can do is just hold your breath and wait for what is to come...
But, then...that pivotal moment arrived, the moment when the curtains were pulled back for me and I got to see EVERYTHING!!!!
I fell apart...Up until this moment I was torn. I couldn't decide who did what or even who was in the right....
I felt different things for each one and then...OH MY!!! After that moment, so much changed.
Brilliantly titled as Misunderstandings, you get to see two people finally understand...Through all their misunderstandings, clarity came through...
But I was still on the edge of my seat...I had no clue of where things were going to go from here..
Just because Justin and Brittni cleared things up doesn't necessarily mean they are going to have an HEA...
All I can say is this...
Misunderstandings is an AMAZING book. A tale beautifully written, capturing you emotionally, and keeping you on your toes up until the very end...
A definite MUST READ!!
